Very Sheltered Housing seems right you

Apply directly to the House Manager
of Wickham House. You will be asked to visit the house, and to inspect
the facilities on offer, and any rooms that are available. If you
choose, you may prefer to spend a month with us on trial before
making any final decision. At every stage we will want close contact
with a family relative or friend who may assist you in your consideration
of our services.

To be eligible for a tenancy you
must live in the Braintree District Council area or have links with
it
|
 |
Are over 55 and have a local
connection |
 |
Are eligible for the council's
housing register or are an owner occupier |
 |
Are physically or mentally
frail and are eligible for Social Care or housing-related support,
so that for example you: |

|
live in residential care but
would prefer to have your own front door or |
|
-
|
have chronic condition which
is likely to get worse over time or |
|
-
|
your current home is no longer
suitable to meet your needs or |
|
-
|
your partner fulfils the above
criteria. |

You can apply to be put forward for a vacancy through
your local Braintree District Council housing officer, your Adult
Social Care contact or Primary Health Contact.
If you are offered a tenancy a plan of the help you
will need will be drawn up.
