Extra Care Housing - An Extra Care Scheme is not a residential home. Everyone living there will have Assured Tenancies with full security of tenure, and retain a major part of their disposable income. They remain eligible for all benefits to which they would be entitled if living in any other community setting, including where applicable, Housing Benefit and Supporting People subsidy. A 3 course daily mid-day meal is professionally prepared, served in the dining room and is a condition of tenancy. |
